REAL-TIME AUTOMATED OPENING AND CLOSING
The automated Opening and Closing process is easily initiated via the SafeResource Mobile App. With just a few taps, staff can report the safe opening and closing of the branch. If a panic situation arises, staff can quickly contact security via audio or video calls. Security will easily identify the caller’s identity and location and can provide full support as delineated by the institution’s established procedures.
EMPLOYEE NOTIFICATIONS
SafeResource replaces the antiquated branch status notification process with messaging sent directly to employee’s smartphones. Regulatory guidelines require that a signal be given to arriving branch staff to confirm that the facility is safe to enter. SafeResource moves this process to modern technology by sending notification to each staff member on a smartphone. The message is completely secure and cannot be hacked or duplicated by a potential assailant.
SEND A SURVEY
Credit unions can easily send surveys to staff members as a way to record their responses on any topic, including daily Health Checks. Staff answer questions with Yes or No answers, and receive a communication based on their response. The survey feature gives you the ability to connect with staff across any number of branches, on any topic, and easily assess the recorded responses. For example, as staff return to work from Coronavirus quarantines, a Health Check survey can be created to support and monitor daily COVID-19 symptom screening for each employee. Based on their answers, they will be able to safely return to work, or be given a recommendation set by your credit union.
ATM SERVICE OR NIGHT DROP RETRIEVAL MODE
For ATM servicing or Night Drop retrieval, a specific period of time is set to complete the process and verify a SAFE status. If the staff member fails to verify, a video call is automatically initiated to Security, who will know the identity and location of the caller. As an example, a staff member is required to service an ATM for cash replenishment. The APP time is set to cover the anticipated time for the task. After the ATM service is completed safely, the staff member stops the timer and enters the SAFE code to notify Security that everything is okay. If the timer expires or the wrong code is entered, Security is notified and can respond accordingly.
PANIC ALARM FOR ALL EMPLOYEES
Staff can send an immediate notification by pushing the APP’s VIDEO icon. An immediate communication is placed to Security alerting that the caller is in a panic situation. Security sees the identity and location of the caller along with real-time audio and video. Everything is recorded and stored on a secured central server controlled by the establishment to meet chain of custody requirements for legal proceedings. Nothing is ever stored on the employee’s smartphone.
LIVE CHAT TO MONITORING
To meet ADA compliance for those with speech or hearing impairments, or when covert communication is required, SafeResource’s functionality allows “Chat” or typed communication with a dispatch operator. Staff members can have real-time interactive communication with the monitoring facility utilizing only the smartphone keyboard.
